ABOUT US

We are the Sambale family, consisting of Katharina, Frank and our son Lio. We live together with our Old German Shepherd male Blou and our Samoyed female Daisy in our detached house with a large garden on Katharina's parents' farm.

In 2015 we decided to expand our family, which at that time consisted of Katharina and Frank. Since Frank grew up with German Shepherds and Katharina had lost her heart to Frank's parents' male German Shepherd, named Freddy, a black Old German Shepherd male, named Blou, moved in with us.

When we moved into our own home in 2019, the desire for a playmate for Blou arose. It should be a very family-oriented, loyal breed. It should also be a sporty breed, as our German Shepherd also liked to be active. After a long search, Frank came across the Samoyed. We fell in love with the Samoyed at first sight; the Samoyed seemed to combine all the characteristics we liked in terms of character and appearance. So our Samoyed dog Daisy moved in with us in September 2021.

Daisy opened up a whole new world for us, as she soon took us to the first pedigree dog shows. Although we were completely inexperienced and had to work our way through all the show rules and procedures, Daisy was able to achieve her first successes early on. We were also able to make nice contacts with other owners and breeders of this wonderful breed.

Inspired by these successes and the exchange with other breeders, we had a heartfelt desire to pass on Daisy's loving, great character traits and her beautiful appearance to future generations of Samoyeds. We have thus successfully completed all examinations and breeding approval with Daisy. Since October 2024, our kennel name "of Snowwhite Thunder" has been internationally registered with DCNH/VDH/FCI. This means that we are now allowed to breed the Samoyed breed according to the official guidelines.
